Well it got me wrong! Apparently...

You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

What's your theological worldview?

It seems to misunderstand a Wesleyan view of the prevenient grace, because I certainly don't subscribe to it...

And that's the problem. It's a startling quiz, for the number of false disjunctions it offers. We are told "Is X more important than Y"? You strongly agree, agree, neither, disagree or strongly disagree. But there were no boxes entitled "Properly understood, both X and Y are hugely important."

"Private piety and devotion is more important than political and social action"

"The person of Christ, rather than the Bible, is the central focus of God's self-revelation"

"Preaching the word is more important than worship"

Etc.

And then there are the questions where you want to ask "... in what sense?"

"The conclusions of church councils are authoritative for the church today". Which councils?

"Karl Barth's theology is hugely important" In what sense important?

"The communion of saints includes the dead as well as the living" What do you mean by communion?

But interesting, so thanks Jon.

It had me the same as you too!!! Maybe Wesley was more reformed than we've given him credit for :o)

Well that's the problem with quizes that give you binary choices

James, I always had my suspicions...

Actually, after moaning about everyone else taking the quiz a few months back, I tried it and came out Barthian... I then tried it again, and scored the same as you...
