(The Book of the Twelve is another name for the “Minor Prophets”, Hosea – Malachi).

Peter Leithart has an illuminating post on the unity of these 12 books entitled Book of the Twelve.

There are a few other posts there as well, posted around the same time, on Micah 4-5 in paticular. Read the post on the Book of the Twelve, and you’ll see why he focuses in on those two chapters.

Wakeling on the Twelve

James,

Did you ever read/hear Simon Wakeling's MTh dissertation on the unity of the book of the 12? He delivered to my Prophetic Literature class in the 3rd year - very persuasive and illuminating.

Yes - I've been interested in reading his diss for some time, but have never been interested enough / not busy enough / made time enough to contact him and ask for a copy.
